Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is a clear, nanotechnology enabled coating, engineered specifically for all indoor and outdoor glass, ceramic and porcelain surfaces. The coating forms an invisible and long-lasting bond with the surface to repel water and prevent the build-up of dirt, soap scum, limescale, salt, chlorine and other contaminants. It can be used internally in bathrooms on shower screens, ceramic tiles, basins and baths to make these surfaces easier and quicker to clean and maintain a high standard of hygiene.

Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is abrasion resistant and will help protect these surfaces from etching and the effects of weathering when used outdoors. The coating is completely UV Stable and cannot peel, flake, crake or discolour at any time making it ideal for external windows, balustrades, skylights and swimming pool fences.

Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is designed to reduce cleaning times (by up to 90%) and negate the need to regularly use household and commercial chemical cleaners. A quick wipe down with a damp cloth is all that is needed to keep coated surfaces clean. This is not only good for our environment but reduces water usage as well. Detergents can still be used from time to time and will not affect or damage the nano coating in any way.

Applying Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is a simple spray and wipe process that can be performed by any homeowner quickly and easily. The coating can be applied to new as well as established surfaces and re-applied as necessary as the effects of the coating start to diminish.

1.How does Nanoman Glass + Ceramic work?
Nanoman coatings contain specifically modified functional nanoparticles that self-assemble and produce a two-dimensional net matrix on the surface that becomes both hydrophobic (water repellent) and anti-stick. Water simply beads and rolls off the coated surface taking dirt and other impurities with it.

2. Will Nanoman harm my glass or ceramic surfaces?
Definitely not. In fact, Nanoman products create a protective barrier that will actually strengthen the surface. This barrier is only 50-60 nanometres thick, which is invisible to the human eye. Nanoman is UV resistant, anti-corrosive and has a high resistance to scratches and abrasions.

3. What is the durability of Nanoman Glass + Ceramic?
This will depend on the condition of the treated surface, however generally the coating will last for 3 to 5 years but will vary depending upon environmental factors.

4. Is the coating biologically safe?
Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is biologically safe and ecologically beneficial. Notwithstanding this, we recommend the wearing of gloves and that the work area be sufficiently ventilated. Nanoman Glass + Ceramic should not be ingested and in the event of eye contact, washed out immediately in warm water.

5. Does temperature affect Nanoman Glass + Ceramic?
Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is stable at varying temperatures but is best applied at temperatures above 4°C. Recommended curing times will increase with increased humidity. Nanoman coatings should be stored in a sealed container, away from light, ideally within the temperature range +5 to +25°C. The treated surface will be frost and temperature resistant.

6. How can I seal large surfaces?
Nanoman Glass + Ceramic is best applied to all surfaces (large or small) by spraying on and then rubbing in with a clean, non-abrasive cloth (Kits have applicator cloths included). Work in small sections at a time and thoroughly rub in the nano coating as applied until the entire surface has been coated. Do not over apply or use too much product as this is not required. Do not apply a second coat. Avoid applying in wet and windy conditions.

7. Do I have to mask up surrounding areas?
No, Nanoman Glass + Ceramic will not harm or damage surrounding surfaces like rubber or metal. Any overspray can be simply wiped off with a dry cloth.

8. Can I apply Nanoman products on surfaces that have been sealed with other products?
Yes, but the surfaces should be pre-cleaned thoroughly using either Nanoman Pre-Cleaner or Methylated Spirits. The surface to be treated has to be clean, completely dry and grease free prior to any application of the nanoman coating.

9. How do I clean surfaces treated with Nanoman Glass + Ceramic?
Nanoman products are designed to cut your cleaning time significantly and eliminate the need to use aggressive cleaners that are harmful to our environment. We recommend cleaning only with water and wipe down with a soft cloth or towel. Occasionally, you may have to use a mild/ph neutral cleaner to remove the occasional stubborn mark to keep your surface looking like new.

10. How long does it take for the coatings to set?
Nanoman Glass + Ceramic requires 30 – 60 minutes to cure during which time the surface should remain completely dry and untouched. In more humid conditions, curing time will be longer. After curing, the coated surface should be polished or wiped down with a soft cloth and if necessary with Nanoman Pre Cleaner to remove any remaining silanes or residue. The surface will be at its most effective after 24 hours and should be kept dry during this time if possible.
