For use on car seats, car mats and soft tops, Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile protects automotive fabrics and textiles against water, dirt and stains, whilst remaining totally invisible. It will not affect the materials appearance, its ability to breathe, its colour or feel. Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile surrounds every fibre with a matrix network of nanoparticles that are extremely hydrophobic and oleophobic, meaning they repel both liquids and contaminants. Liquid spills will either run off or sit on top of the surface and can be easily shaken off or soaked up using a paper towel or similar. The liquids will not soak into the material, eliminating any potential staining. The nano coating is highly adhesive to fabrics and leather alike and will provide a highly effective layer against water, coffee and other liquid spills for up to 12 months.
Coverage is dependent upon the absorbency of the fabric being treated and therefore ranges between 50 and 100 ml/m2, (average 70-80ml / m2)

The durability of Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile depends on several factors, such as the frequency of wear, cleaning and mechanical abrasion. In ideal conditions a single treatment will last at least 12 months. Assuming average use and cleaning we provide the following as a guide.

How does Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile work?
Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile contains specifically modified functional nanoparticles that self-assemble and produce a two-dimensional net matrix on the fabric’s fibres. The surface is then hydrophobic (water repellent). Water simply beads and rolls off the coated surface taking dirt and other impurities with it.
How do I apply Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile?
Application may differ depending on the material involved. In all cases, please ensure that the surface is clean and dry. In the case of carpets, you should thoroughly clean and vacuum before applying.
Spray evenly over the entire surface from a distance of about 30cm until it looks slightly damp.
For leather, please then wipe in with a clean lint free cloth to ensure a good even coverage.
For carpets, gently rub the coating into the fibres using a brush or squeegee. Then, after 5-10 minutes apply a second coating.
All coated items should be left for 24 hours before using to allow for the coating to dry and become fully bonded with the fabric.
Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile cannot be applied to materials that are already coated with a fabric protection or where the materials themselves are designed to be water resistant.
What makes Nanoman different from other fabric enhancements?
Traditional treatments use chemical coatings to give the textiles performance characteristics. Instead of overwhelming the fabric with a heavy coating, Nanoman coatings are enhanced through the use of nanotechnology – tiny molecules that permanently attach to fibres without clogging the fabric weave to add superior performance without compromising the look, feel or comfort of the fabric.
Will Nanoman harm my surfaces?
Definitely not. In fact, Nanoman coating creates a protective barrier that will actually strengthen the fibre surface. This barrier is only 100-150 nanometres thick, which is invisible to the human eye. Nanoman is UV resistant and will not affect the haptic of the fibre.
What is the durability of Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile?
The durability depends on several factors, such as the frequency of use or wear and environmental factors. Items subject to heavy use and cleaning, such as carpets, will be protected for up to 6 months. We recommend that you re-apply Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile, in accordance with these time frames in order to provide continuous protection.
Is the sealant Toxic?
Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile has been tested by an independent institute and was designated biologically safe and harmless to the environment. Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile is a water-based product that is not harmful to skin. Nanoman products are all non-silicone based and contain no fluorocarbons or fluoropolymers.
Nanoman Car Fabric and Textile is water based and it has been certified as Food Safe and tested by the Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute in Germany – the leading test lab of this type in the world. Nanoman Car Fabric + Textile coating met all the requirements for an ECO-Passport (world standard) and is approved for the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 which is a global classification. This classification is the highest possible in terms of ensuring its safety.
