Nanoman Antimicrobial for Hard Surfaces is a scientifically proven surface protectant that kills germs, viruses and bacteria (including COVID-19) upon application and for 6 months after application. Standard disinfectants require regular re-application meaning a surface can potentially be re-infected not long after traditional disinfection. Nanoman Antimicrobial in comparison provides ongoing peace of mind that a surface is protected long term (proven up to 6 months after application). Upon application, Nanoman Antimicrobial kills 99.99% of germs, viruses and bacteria. After the initial disinfecting kill, Nanoman Antimicrobial uses the power of nanotechnology to leave behind a layer of microscopic bacteria and germ destroying “nano swords” that provide on-going elimination of germs, viruses and bacteria. This coating is invisible and does not alter the look or feel of the hard surfaces that it is applied to. It is UV stable and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is not suitable for application to the skin although once applied to the hard surface and dried it has no adverse effects when touched. It is recommended that normal cleaning of these hard surfaces continues as this will remove the dead germ cells and enable the coating to operate most effectively.

1. How does Nanoman Antimicrobial (for Hard Surfaces) work?
Nanoman Antimicrobial works in two ways. Firstly, upon application it kills germs, viruses (including Covid-19) and bacteria within a couple of minutes, completely disinfecting the surface. Secondly it then works by providing a “killing field” of billions of nano swords that both puncture and electrocute bacteria and germs making them ineffective and incapable of infecting a host. The nano swords are linked together and bonded to the surface at a molecular level, giving it long-lasting effectiveness and durability. It is this two pronged approach that is unique and superior to ordinary disinfectants which work only once and required constant re-application in order to be effective.
2. How is Nanoman Antimicrobial applied?
For best results we recommend giving the surface a thorough clean first using warm soapy water or other regular household cleaner. The reason for this is that all surfaces over time develop a bio-film which should be removed first in order to get best use out of the Antimicrobial coating. It’s a bit like applying a wax to a car, you would never apply the wax on top of a dirty car, you would always clean it first. After this initial clean apply the Nanoman Antimicrobial to the clean surface by spraying on and rubbing in thoroughly with a soft clean cloth. This will sterilise the surface and once dried (cured) leave a layer of nano swords behind that will go on killing microbes for at least 6 months.

3. How long does it take for the coating to set?
Nanoman Antimicrobial requires at least 10 minutes to dry during which time the surface should remain completely dry and untouched. It requires a further 6 hours curing time for it molecularly bond with surface and become fully functional. We recommend the surface remain untouched during this curing phase.
4. Will Nanoman harm my surfaces?
Definitely not. In fact, Nanoman products create a protective barrier. This barrier is only 150-300 nanometres thick, which is invisible to the human eye. Nanoman is UV resistant and has a high resistance to scratches and abrasions. It will not alter the look or feel of any surface.
5. How long will this coating last?
Nanoman Antimicrobial can be applied to any hard surface and will provide continuous 24/7 protection for at least 6 months, even on high touch points. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It will not simply disappear after this, however we do recommend re- applying the coating every 6 months to ensure maximum protection.
6. Is the coating biologically safe?
Nanoman Antimicrobial does not contain any halogens, heavy metals or nano silver particles. Once cured it is completely non-toxic. In liquid form, it is toxic to aquatic life and should not be disposed of into waterways or sewage outlets. Do not ingest and keep out of reach of children. Gloves should be worn when applying. Please dispose of plastic containers responsibly.
7. Does temperature affect Nanoman Antimicrobial?
Nanoman Antimicrobial is stable at varying temperatures but is best applied at temperatures above 4°C. Product contains ethanol so ensure the cap is on at all times, avoid open flames and do not apply to hot surfaces. Nanoman coatings should be stored in a sealed container, away from light, ideally within the temperature range +5 to +25°C. The coating has a shelf life of 2 years under these storage conditions.
8. Can Nanoman Antimicrobial be used on any hard surface?
Yes, this coating can be applied to all hard surfaces including, but not limited to, metal, all type of steel, timber, glass, porcelain, ceramics, plastic, stone, composites, and tiles etc. It will not harm soft surfaces like rubber or fabric if there is any overspray.
9. Can I apply Nanoman products on surfaces that have been sealed with other products?
Yes, but the surfaces should be cleaned thoroughly first using warm soapy water or standard detergents. The surface can then be coated with Nanoman Antimicrobial as per normal.
10. How do I clean surfaces treated with Nanoman Antimicrobial?
For Nanoman Antimicrobial to be most effective, normal cleaning should be maintained. Cleaning wipes away dead microbes and other contaminants that can cover the “killing field” of nano swords, diminishing its ability to destroy microbes that are deposited on the treated surface.
