Nanoman Wheels is a nanotechnology based sealant designed to protect your wheels and rims against dirt, road pollution and brake dust.  Nanoman Wheels forms a tough, ultra thin, invisible layer on the metal components of the wheel that is both hydrophobic and anti-stick.  Water beads off the coated wheel taking any loose materials with it.  Cleaning becomes super quick and easy. Brake dust and other damaging contaminants are easily wiped off with a damp cloth eliminating the need for scrubbing or the need to use chemical cleaners.

Designed to last for 2+ years, the coating is UV resistant, anti-corrosive and highly abrasion resistant.

1. How does Nanoman Wheels work?
Nanoman sealants contain nano particles that self assemble and produce a protective matrix on the surface that becomes both hydrophobic (water repellent) and anti-stick. Water simply beads and rolls off the coated surface taking dirt and other impurities with it.

2. Can Nanoman harm my wheels?
No, however care should be taken to avoid excessive contact with the tyres. Nanoman products create a protective barrier that will actually strengthen the surface. This barrier is only 50-100 nanometers thick, which is invisible to the human eye. Nanoman is UV resistant, anti-corrosive and has a high resistance to scratches and abrasions.

3. What is the durability of Nanoman Wheels?
This will depend significantly on frequency of use and environmental conditions including cleaning cycles and use of chemical cleaners to clean wheels.  Under normal driving conditions wheels should remain protected for up to 2 years.

4. Will I still have to clean my car wheels?
Yes. Nanoman Wheels will significantly reduce the amount of cleaning required however it will not eliminate it completely. You will, no longer need to use chemical cleaners that are costly and damaging to the environment. We recommend cleaning only with water and a damp soft cloth or towel. Occasionally, you may have to use a mild/ph neutral cleaner to remove the occasional stubborn mark.

5. Can I use it on other parts of the car?
No. Nanoman Products are specifically engineered for specific surfaces. We have other products in our range designed for use on other surfaces. Please refer to our website for further details.

6. Is the sealant biologically safe?
Nanoman Wheels is biologically safe and ecologically beneficial. Notwithstanding, we recommend the wearing of gloves and that the work area be sufficiently ventilated. Nanoman Wheels should not be ingested and in the event of eye contact, washed out immediately with water.

7. Does temperature affect Nanoman Wheels?
Nanoman is stable at varying temperatures including the extreme heat generated by wheels under braking. It is best applied at temperatures above 4° Celsius on wheels that are not excessively hot. Recommended curing times will increase with increased humidity. Nanoman should be stored in its sealed container, away from light, ideally within the temperature range +5° to +25° degrees Celsius. The treated surface will be frost and temperature resistant.

8. How long does it take for the coating to set?
Nanoman Wheel requires 30 – 60 minutes to cure during which the surface should remain completely dry and untouched. In humid conditions, curing time will be longer. After curing, the coated surface should be polished or wiped down with a soft cloth to remove any remaining residue. The surface will be at its most effective after 24 hours and should be kept dry during this time if practical.
